We offer testing to measure your metabolism and your VO2 max. . At Performance Plus Rehab we have an in-house gym to help you carry out your fitness goals. VO2 Max Testing
Fitness Assessment (peak VO2)
VO2 max is considered by exercise physiologists to be the ultimate indicator of cardiovascular fitness. V02 max is the maximum amount of oxygen consumed by your body during exercise. The CardioCoach uses VO2 max along with your age to indicate fitness level. A personalized exercise regimen based on true VO2 max is essential to optimum cardio training.
5K races :
Each May we are the presenting sponsor of the Dash&Dine 5K family run/walk. Olive Garden caters a free pasta dinner for all participants following the race. All proceeds benefit Mid City Excellence, a non for profit inner city youth organization.
Also, this past September we had the privilege of being the presenting sponsor of the South Side Fall Festival 5K family run/walk. It preceded the parade and followed the parade route. It was a great time for all those who participated. The proceeds benefited Benton High School scholarship fund.
*All of our races are chip timed events, and our facilitated by our own race director Wendy Eidmann who is very organized, detailed and professional. You can find these races listed on www. enter2run.com at least 3 months prior to event.
